I'm assuming you let her have her head when she's cantering, correct? You know what you're doing wrong, but maybe try lifting your hands a tad. You two look cute.

You could probably shorten your stirrups 1-2. They almost look westernish. Sorry. Just noticed.

You might want to bring your heel under you more instead of lining it up with the girth, correct me if i'm wrong. In some pictures your leg is further forward and further back.

What everyone else has says. Like I said, try lifting your hands too. I can tell you're letting Emmie have her head, especially at the canter, which is great, I do it too, but even at the walk/trot, lift your hands up so they're not in your crotch. It'll especially help when you're cantering, because you're allowing her to move her head freely even more, and in turn you'll have a more foreward canter. I like your showmanship outfit in the 4th picture.

You reallyyy should tighten your reins. It just looks sloppy with them flopping. Just an idea for you to work on with your trainer this winter. You already know I think she needs to break more at the wither and let her nose out.
Also, you don't do the stupid duck run in showmanship do you? Because that is really frowned upon now. Run normal, dont try to keep your upper body perfectly still. Also outside leg back at the canter. It helps her swing together and hold her collection. (If you move her hip over, that is.) You also want her head tipped to the inside just a tad, just so you can see her eyelashes.

yeah^^ my hands are up and out more, and my legs are back tooo and thanks! I LOVE my outfit too. haha No problem! I'd love to do some showmanship with Dylan, but knowing him he'd go nuts at the sight of a mare. I swear to God that moose is still a stallion and he's just secretly hiding his balls so I think he's a gelding.

your reins are really long....keep contact on the outside rein and have a loose inside rein. Push with your inside leg to send her to outside rein. and yea...more contact in the legs. thats the most that sticks out

Not at the canter jay jay...you want to have your inside rein a tad tighter than your outside.

Maybe thats how it is with Paints, but in the QH world you dont want them to be flopping at all. A little loose is fine, but when they're moving with your horse, that can be penalized.
