I used to ride hunt seat. I didn't really take lessons though -- I just rode with friends at a barn that let us go riding every week. Haha.
Sometime Id like to take hunt seat lessons so ill be more versatile.

well^^ kind of, huntseat is more eq and pleasure, but hunters is jumping... but yeah, they are basically the same thing, same type of saddle

I knew there were hunter courses, but I also knew there were HUS classes. I just always assumed they were the same. So they're similar and "related" but different. I think I get it now

ya they are both english stuff HUS is teh more traditional hunter style where u want your horse long and low..isn't it liek western pleasure in an english saddle..liek same concept? well anyways lol i do H/J and Eq stuff

yeah huntseat is more QH and low head and slow... HUS is more "fine" horses (tb, standarbred, saddlebred ect)

i personallly love QH heads and their speed. I think horses with their heads up hanging in the air look liek shit, and they dont need any work getting them there, but its hard to train a QH to get his head and speed liek that
