In English we had to write a poem about nature.. so I wrote something about my Valentino and how I see him in nature and such.. Just wondering what you all think of it:
Many will tell you that perfection is inconceivable
But they never met Valentino.
He cantered bravely into my life,
Leaving hoof prints on my heart.
Life with him was far from dull,
For the best days of my life
Were spent in my angel’s stall.
It was a tranquil winter morning that
His legs stretched out, carrying him gracefully
One last time, to a painless eternity.
In my heart there’s always a special place,
Locked away beyond the emptiness-
Just for my valentine.
And everywhere I venture, he’s beside me.
In my heart I'll always see you in
The breathtaking swirls of orange and red
Painted flawlessly by God.
Life without you, is a sunset without the sun.
Beautiful if you squint, yet barely defined.
It’s in the beauties we rarely acknowledge
The little things, which really aren’t little at all.
A small painted butterfly flutters elegantly across
The barely blue sky, sparking a young girl’s imagination.
I see him in the tranquility of the moving waves,
Splashing powerfully onto the glistening grains of sand
As the breeze gently caresses my body.
He’s there when the rain trickles down,
Like teardrops from the sky.
And when the thunder ferociously beats
But if thunderstorms bring darkness,
He is the lightning which brings strength
And light into my world.
Our times together is what keeps him alive in me,
And for as long as I’m alive, I’ll look up at the gleaming sun,
And I’ll see his face. For, just as the sun, he has brought
Warmth and joy into the lives of each person
Whose eyes have dared to look at such perfection.
Many will tell you that perfection is inconceivable
But they never met Valentino.
He cantered bravely into my life,
Leaving hoof prints on my heart.
