My major is equine training. That's what it's "officialy" called, but they incorporate teaching beginners and what not into it. They do have a minor for specifically equine teaching, so I might get into that.

Okay. I was just asking cause I really don't know what I want to do after highschool. I wanted to take equine studies but everyone tellsme not to. And I was just wondering if you were going to do it full time or just part time. Like have another career and then do like teaching part time? Sorry For all the questions I'm just trying to decide what I want to do lol

I used to want to major in equine sciences/management.. but instead I'm going to school for Occupational Therapy (and becoming a therapeutic riding/hippotherapy therapist.. maybe creating my own barn for that in the future).. but I'm going to college ROTC so I'll be serving in the military before I need to worry about getting a job after college.
Anyway, one of my friends from the barn, Justin, is a guy.. maybe I'll ask him to join the site

Well, obviously find a school with a good equestrian program and get a list of the majors and what not, and see if they have what you want. You know what to do from there. Once school starts up I'm taking my courses in the morning so that I can teach my lessons in the afternoon.
