Hey everyone, I'm Cassie. I'm 15, in 10th grade, like tennis, horseback riding (reining, I compete) and gymnastics.

Hey welcome! Do you ride QH? or Paint? I love reining but I have to say I suck. Whenever I try a spin I get like, pulled out of my saddle by the speed of it.

I ride a QH. Spinning is her worst element so there not to fast but still decent. my instructors working a LOT with me getting her spins better and I have to use a crop to whip her shoulder and ya. Theres a stratagy here for prepping for shows but ya'll probably dont care. Anyways, I had to spin bareback with the crop a few days ago for an hour.

Thats a really long time. In my book- if you cant get SOMETHING right to a point where you can quit for the day within 45 minutes, you're doing something wrong. But everyone has their different perspectives on training.

It wasn't my choice. believe me, I wasn't planning on a lesson but she came out, handed me the crop and told me to spin. She decides when I quit when shes giving me a lesson. Shes use to long ride. With show season comming up I ride 2-3 hours a day.
